Kintyre Beach Guide - Clachan Beaches

Clachan, is approximately 20 minutes drive from Tarbert through Whitehouse and is the location of the Balinakil Hotel.

Drive by Clachan with its small old church and up the hill, on the right you will see the Paps of Jura in the distance, continue down and up the next hill and you will come to a clearing and proceed yet down another hill and on the right you will see Ronachan Bay.

At the bottom of the hill is adequate parking for cars and you can access what is locally known as Seal Point and of course Ronachan Bay.

Continue driving south along the coastal road of Kintyre and you will notice a large boulder on the right at a left turn in the road, in here is a very small car park with access to a small beach known locally as flatstone beach.
