Kintyre Beach Guide - Machrihanish Beaches
Machrihanish is famous for its golf club and 18 Hole Championship True Links Golf Course. Machrihanish is a short drive from Campbeltown, perhaps just under twenty minutes.
The golf course itself opens right next to Machrihanish Bay with stunning golden sand, ideal for an evening walk. To stay at such a quiet and tranquil undisturbed location is a pleasure and of course the sunsets as with the entire west coast of Kintyre are simply stunning, it should be called the Sunset Peninsula!
Further along through Machrihanish there are also pieces of coastline and little sandy coves which are worth exploring.
